Well – here we are. NYFW has begun, Kamala Harris, a Black Woman, is running for President of these here United States, and the word of the times is “immigrant.” A word totally describing the efforts, tribulations, and successes of all Americans. Whether we were born here, are first or 31st generation of American, we must appreciate the implications that WE are what makes America great! And what better way to understand, see, and accept that, than in the creativity, vision, and actual designs of USA Designers as well as World renowned Designers!
So, without further ado – let’s cover the fashion trends that we appreciate, street wear, haute couture, Whatever you call “Design.” We should also understand what “trend” is, what it means and how it can impact our everyday outfit decisions and our society.
Trend:
The best way to understand “trends” is to simply observe the world around you. Often we copy what our friends or cohorts think is cool or fashionable. We often notice new looks and or styles on social media. We question ourselves with is my skirt short enough, or those shirts supposed to be mid-rifs? Do I need a logo T-shirt. Am I wearing the right sneakers. Are cowboy boots a better look and so on and so forth. Is the price the price I should pay? Does the outfit suit my personality or style. And there you have it – you choose, you’re happy with the look and you are now trending with everyone else. Oh and you’re posting with Joy!!!
